These symbolic landscapes populated by moths and butterflies, flowers and storms and the figurative sculptures of people becoming trees, are all inspired by a livelong love of the natural environment, for this sweet moist planet, so rare and precious.
I want my work to be a voice for nature to speak through the language of metaphor, color and form. If we could all hear the clear still voice of the natural world singing sighing and whispering all around us, what might it tell us?
